Just a small point, but I noticed at the weekend when changing the speakers, that you can get to the boot-release cable from the speaker pod. May not be any help - I guess it depends which end is stuck - but it might give you easier access to the problem. Cheers, Liam (Elise #8005).

Row 1 is stuck on. It lights up immediately with the GI at boot up and remains lit through tests and game play. I've re-seated the connectors at 133 and 137 and the ribbon cable. Is this a bad transistor on the power driver board? Any other ideas? I was hoping the new board would work like a charm. Thanks!

The hatch on my 02 Mondeo occasionally gets stuck and the central locking doesn't emit ints usual clunk in the region of the boot. Presumably this is an electrical problem. Before I have a go at it with screwdrivers etc, has anyone else had the same problem? Where should I look? TIA JF odgy boot motor perhaps.
